Economic issues are an essential area of interest to the Pro Futuro Europae Institute. This programme section consists of general and European models of international exchange, issues connected with the creation of an internal market of EU financial services and other economic policy matters. The Competition Principle, EU budgetary affairs and their influence on Poland's development are also covered by the Institute. The Institute analyses selected EU economic documents and the corresponding case law. It is especially engaged in following the development of the Lisbon Strategy. The proposed Pro Futuro Europae Academic Conference on EU and Poland's economy will be devoted to those issues in 2007.
